cadence dft

Hi,

Does someone know how to use FFT to transform the transient waveform into frequency domain in
cadence analog simulation environment? and is there any way to calculate the amplitude of one
time domain waveform? I coudn't find a good reference for the analog simulation environment.
Thank you very much for your help!

fft cadence

does the wave be in AC?

dft cadence

transient analysis first

dft in cadence

Transient analysis first you see waveform then:
There is a push-button in the toolbar with words: FFT, look it up...

and the second method is:

just use calculator, click vt and choose the node you want to take fft. Then choose dft in calculator and choose the appropriate time interval and finally plot it

choose a proper window is very important

how to dft in cadence

Yes, I finally got it. The setup is kind of tricky. I'll have to run a long transient time to get the frequency window. Thank you guys!

A question about dft:

Does Cadence support different kind of windows?

Thx
