Looking for free DES encryption ip to start practicing VHDL

Hello people all around the World. I am a beginner in FPGA design and l'm looking for
a free ip related to DES encryption to start practicing. It is not nessesarry that it works well in synthesis. I need it just for practice. I found nothing in www.free-ip.com.

take a look at www.opencores.org You can find there free DES and triple DES core. Testbench included.

Hi,
As said, you can find it on that site;

The core was writen in Verilog, but it is prety easy to use and play with.

I worked on it for a while some times ago and tried to optimise it even more, but I gave up after a while :)
