Hi,
You must have a classic or basic color gameboy. Take a look at the elektor website for the price (#150$)

gameboy advance oscilloscope

Hi gyus, I make small research via internet, which from elements I can buy. With passive elements I don't have any problems, with some ICs too. Maybe this project is a little bit old (2000 yaer) and some elements are discontinued :(
I'm from Bulgaria, and I can buy only from farnell. I can't find where to buy input opamp from motorolla (mc33182). I can't buy chips from maxim/dallas but maybe some friend from usa or europe take for me free samles from maxim's site.

Any ideas with what kind of another input opams I can use ?
Thanks.

gameboy oscilloscope firmware

so for people that already have a gbdso, how good is this? is it totally a toy? or have you used it in cases where it was helpful/useful?

thanks-Lee

game boy dso

i received the GBDSO froma friend, it is a great help up to 100khz at 60 volts max, i am using it for a ultrasonic robot sensor, and it is working perfectly.

where i can find the DSOGRAB?

Thanks

You'll think it is worth the money?

I really want a Digital O.. but money is tight.. and I definitly would like a portable one.. if I can :)

gameboy osciloscope

if you do not want to spend on that expensive Osciloscopes, and you will not work up to 60 volts and 100KHZ, it is great.

I recomend this osciloscope only up to 50khz, with 40khz frecuencies, it sometimes fails. but it worth for the develpment of my ultrasonic robot sensor.

gbdso game boy oscilloscope

Any source code for this project? Or other Scope-like software sources for GB?

gbdso digital sampling oscilloscope

I am almost finished building one of these.

I have had to substitute a few components due to lack of availability, but I'm hoping it works ok.

It's great for a 'tool box' scope!

Thanks for the files CD!

Rochester Electronics has 2 in stock:

https://www.rocelec.com/

Cross Reference to ST Microelectronics TS522IN or TS522ID. Mouser Electronics has these parts in stock.

gameboy elector gbdso

The GBDSO also works in the GB advance, even the communication with PC, its because when the GBA detects if is a GB or GBA cartridge, and works with 5 or 3.3V respectively.
this is the DSO software, in the copyrights says that isn't freeware or shareware but i downloaded from the elektor page directly.
