I have to submit an mini project in my college as soon as possible. My teacher gave me a circuit on 4 in 1 Burglar Alarm and told me to do it as my project. I have been working on this project from last 4-5 days but I am not getting any output out of it. I tried to simulate it on various software like Multisim but in all of them some components was not available. After that I am still trying it on breadboard but my circuit is not working. Can anyone help me out on this projec? I want to know is this circuit is really working or not. I am attaching the circuit diagram. Please someone tell me is this a working circuit or not? Please reply as soon as possible. 10.gif

It should work but it's a horrible design and would not be reliable.

Before expecting it to operate, make sure all the switches are closed (on) and set the controls about half way.
Note that if you set the controls to minimum value and power it up in bright conditions you risk buring out both LDRs.
You should also add a resistor of about 22K between the base and emitter pins of T2.

Brian.

Thanks for advice murali_dece. I tested it on Breadboard with little changes in the circuit and it worked. All the four traps are active and working fine.
