It is weird...

Could you show me the window that has 'High performance simulation option' button ??

Ok I didn't notice that your setup menu lack of high performance option.

Check in terminal do You have aps options for spectre. It's possible that You have not some evnironments variables or your system lack of some packages.

What's your system?

I am using Centos 5.6 (64bit), IC610 and mmsim 101

and i check that there is APS file in the XXX/mmsim/tools.lnx86/bin

Do you need another information?

Of course, I already installed all developer packages

Hmm, maybe the problem lies in too old version of Virtuoso? Since 6.1.3 "high performance sims" option exist in menu.
At this moment You can editing run Simulation script by adding proper options to run with aps and multithreading.
