I need a photo darlington single or array with input current of 1 to 60 mA and o/p side current of 500 to 800 mA. Is there any photo-darlington with this specification?

Hello,
Same problem I faced couple of months ago. I solved this by using the following idea.

Enjoy!!!

I know that idea but I need to drive a load which draws 250 mA, so I was thinking it would be better to use photo darlington which can drive 500 mA or 800 mA so that the no. of components can be reduced.

You can Google for that specs, I haven't seen an opto darlington array with these specs. Any how I hope following links could help you finding the right one! If you found one paste the link or part number here.
