Dear all,

I'm currently working on a project which requires to model a 50kW PEM fuel cell using matlab. I would like to seek help from the experts here on how to model them. Looking at either simulink or mfile. May I know which method is easier and any advice on how to model them? Appreciate all advice. Thank you.
 

hi guy, i m also working in matlab. you mentioned how to model ... i cannot say anything about that cuz i aint known what u wanna do through that. meanwhile matlab & simulink is easier method relatively that u r gonna seek. i try to put one pic to blink a lamb in ur mind :)

herein, you would ve the chance to see the signals on the bus ... your math should be good to cope with some burdens as well ...

Good work. Keep it up.
Say, aren't there already membrane-less fuel cells? Makes things easier - simplicity is the way to go.

That they have a library for that built-in ... crazy. Wonder if the source for their implementation of that is open source - guess it's not.

Still I'm wondering why one should simulate a fuel cell system? Cost minizing & optimization? Should be doable in LABVIEW too. A, here [Google Book] they state LabVIEW is not best for simulating fuel cells but they use it for DataAcquisition and RealTime measurements. They also simulate using MATLAB. A little farther in chapter 5 they also show some of the control algorithms they used.

Yes you cannot modify it though you can use it as it is...you can model your equations on the basis of the built-in design

Please, i want a model in which fuel cell is the source and after all the circuit which may include filters and all that, and finally after a transformer, i get 11kv waveform. I shall be very thankful to you. please.
 

Click the "Download Submission" blue coloured button on the right top of the page to download the model file. Extract .rar file to see the .mdl file.
