Hi,
I am trying to plot gm/id vs (id/(w/l)) curve of a transistor for design of OTA, i referenced many suggestions in the community but none of them is giving a clear idea about how to plot the above mentioned curve.

I am able to get the plots for gm/id vs id , but when i am trying to do the parameter sweep w/l and check the results browser only one option is coming- variables.

I am struck with this, could anyone please suggest some idea for this problem.

Pls suggest the clear ideas how to get the curve in cadence spectre simulator in linux environment if possible.

thanks in advance

Hi,

You can do it from dc analysis. In sweep parameters choose the "component parameter" position, like this:

Run simulation and now you can plot transconductance curve vs w or l of transistor.
