This is Metcal STTC soldering tip, what I need is a connector I can use to experiment with the tip without destroying it.

OD: 4.0mm
ID: 3.2mm
Pin OD: 0.9-1.1mm (can't measure)

Thanks, Z

You can use Metcal handpiece .....

You are right, I can! I have a brand new handpiece, but I not like the idea to buy one more just for experimenting.

That's why I'm looking for replacement connector. Did you see some similar connectors anywhere?

No I did not see it. I just have MX-500 soldering station.

Looks like an old Murata FSC connector, which now is discontinued and replaced by GSC series (smaller). Check the net for equivalent of FSC.

If you purchase the New Metcal Advanced handpiece, the finger grip unscrews and you will have access to the connector.
