Please observe the MIMO antenna.pdf i have attached.
In general, when defining port in hfss, the ground is below the dielectric and the radiating element at the top of dielectric.
But in this design, both the radiating element(monopole antenna) and the ground are on the top of dielectric(fr-4).In this case, how should i define the port?

whats the problem ?? they did a come type of design its like a dipole microstrip and its type of RFID antenna

a similar lambda/4 monopole antenna design i am trying to simulate in hfss but stuck with excitation.please help me how to excite it.i have attahced the pdf i working out for my project.

thanks well in advance!

u can try using a waveguide port in hfss

You can model PCBs using AN-SOF. You can ask for a free version in this link
