hello all,
If I am given a schematic of a circuit say level shifter and told to do a layout on the same.What all I should note in steps like( area req, floorplan)...Can anybody tell the steps req by an engineer while designing a layout for given schematic?
 

first you just check the schematic,and single nets,and then fix board L X H and next number of layers ANY component to be placed in some fixed area any differential pairs and datasheets for the critical components.
