good day :)
guys I really need your help. I'm an ECE graduating student and I need an idea about my thesis. I want to focus on "green technology".
can you share some ideas on what project will be the best for this one.

{P.S. : I'm not so very good on this :) please give me ideas with medium level of difficulty }

thanks in advance. GODBLESS :)

Hi!
You can try something on electromechanical vibrational energy harvesting system.

The harvester can be made as an arrangement of Neodemium Magnet inside a coil.
When the magnet will vibrate [to and fro motion]it will generate AC current in the coil. This can be rectified and filtered to convert to DC which can be used to charge a battery. Also you can use a DC-DC converter to change the voltage level of the DC.

You can keep the arrangement on any vibrating platform. You can also make it wearable so when a person goes for jogging it will generate some energy which will be sufficient to power small devices.

All the best

Hi

Try this Small wind turbine technology...

@manishanand14 thank you for the information :) it was so much appreciated.

I have researched about that one. The circuit was placed in the sole of the shoes so that when you are walking you are able to charge small electronic device (something like that) but it suggested to still modify it so that it is able to charge batteries.

Do you have a circuit, schematic diagram or block diagram regarding on that? Thank so much :)

@rparthiban69 thank you for your reply :) godbless. I will take note of that.

Hi manishanand-

If u know pic16f877a pwm duty cycle. I need to vary duty cycle 0 to 255 by using PC rs232. PC send 01, micro controller pwm output 1 duty cycle.

My instructor told us about "wireless charger".. It is like RF scavenging. Some other groups tried that before but it didn't work because the signal gathered was not enough to charge the battery. They use op-amp to amplify it but still it doesn't work.

Harvester design is inspired by Sawne Fayne "wind belt invention".Google it for more info. Also you can purchase Neobidium Magnets in varius sizes online and make yourself a harvester and also you can experiment with different size of coils and magnets.

I recommend you to try electromechanical energy harvester because it will produce more power.

I will google it and do some research about that one. It is a bright idea for my thesis :) thank you so much for the information and efforts :)

Try generating electricity with peltier, this will give more results with small investment. Just find good heat source and way to cooldown, in other words make temp difference and result is here. But its very discutabile what we can call "green tech", almost nothing cant be called with that thermin, even copper wire, deed wee see some copper mine and manufacturing of copper wires ? Solar and Wind are standard ways, piezzo nano or micro power, RF power distribution and cosmic ray harvesting, possible when new Tesla showup and continue work. :)
