What devices?

I would like to study some simple SISO real cases to see how the system is modeled and expecially what devices should be used to accomplish the desired behaviour of the feedback system.
I mean, once you have designed a PID controller for instance, so that poles and zeroes are well set, how this PID controller is realized with physical devices?

Any tutorial, books, articles are welcome.

Re: What devices?

PID's can be implemented with Op amps or in firmware with a microcontroller .. There are plenty of examples of both IMPLEMENTATIONS ..even here at EDA board do some searching ..
There was one featured at ELEKTOR with a PIC . I posted the code here ..
So ,,search ,,search
