I need your help!
I have drawn a schematic in DxDesigner. But when I try to Export PDF file, the following error appears on the separate black window and disappears in miliseconds (I have used "Print Screen" button on my keyboard in order to catch the message).

"SCH2PDF - V5.0
License request for dxpdf feature failed
Security failure"

What could be a problem? I am not licensed on such a simple feature as Output PDF file???
Or may be there was a mistake during installation of DxDesigner software?

Thank you in advance!

You need the 'dxpdf' license in order to generate pdf files from your DxDesigner schematics.

Welcome to the wonderfull world of MentorGraphics, where you have to pay for even the basic features.

So in the basic package of this Software there is no DxPDF License included?? How can I check if I should have this license or not?

You can check out your licenses in several ways.

- On supportnet. Look for the string "dxpdf" in your license file.

- At your desktop. from a command window type 'lmutil lmdiag dxpdf', if the license is available something like this should appear.

------------------------------------------------------
"dxpdf" v2012.090, vendor:mgcld
License server: xxx.xxx.xxxx
floating license starts : 19-dec-2011, expires: 31-dec-2012

This license can be checked out
