Hello All,

I want to know that when we use Fast Sequential and Full sequential ATPG?

Which are advantages over Basic ATPG?

Thanks in Advance.

-Maulin

In basic scan all sequential cells should must be scan-enabled. In partial scan you will have few non-scan sequential cells.

Fast and Full sequential ATPG are applied to partial scan designs. In this case you will have multiple capture cycles.

In Full seq. clock and reset signals to the non scan elements do not need to be controllable at the primary inputs and there is no specific limit on the number of capture cycles used between scan load and unload

Thank you very much.
But I want to know that,Why we require multiple capture cycles for the full and fast sequential ATPG?

Thanks in Advance

Multiple capture cycles are applied to pass the captured values in the non-scannable registers to scannable registers and thus shift them out during unload.
