Hi,

I want to send data via UART with a minimum error rate to a distance upto 20 meter using cheap RF433 module which do not have any datasheet...
I am using Pic 16F877A with a crystal of 8Mhz... So for reducing error rate which is the best baud rate which i can set.... Also i cannot use manchester code as its out of use in mikroC library....

I dont consider much about data rate (or SPEED).... just need to receive the data even in a damn slow.....:-|

Also tell me about the antenna design (i.e; straight or spiral type)...

please help

When i tried any RF433, i watched in oscilloscope and found that the receiver can receive data correctly after sending high pulse about 50 ms. So, i used baud rate at 600 bps, Sent 50 ms high pulse, sent two bytes of recognizing header code, the actual data, and one byte checksum. I hope it will make you get some idea.
