Which multiplexor i.c. are you using?

Here's an example with the 74HC151 - is that the sort of thing you want?

RC0 is the multiplexor output
RC1 is the enable (set low to enable)
RD0-RD2 is the address select

You can use any pins you want really though. Just code accordingly.
