Thank you Dear jim , for your guide and patience.

Re: AM Radio Transmitter

Kind of spoils the fun of building one, but you can buy ready made fm transmitters designed for connecting your ipod or walkman to your car radio, what you would need is an amplifier to amplify the output of your mic to the transmitter.

Re: AM Radio Transmitter

C'mon... an additional amplifier?
So why not buying for the same price a 'clip microphone' wireless FM transmitter? .

Re: AM Radio Transmitter

Hello Dear mister_rf
I think it is more interesting to build one of them ?! isn't it ? i think it is very sweet !

Re: AM Radio Transmitter

I think he will have to pick and choose one of the two: start learning electronics, by building and improving small transmitters until the final version will fit the needs, or just spend some bucks for off-the-shelf product and start using it.

Re: AM Radio Transmitter

FM transmitters can be really simple, the issue with tyhem is drift,a nd if your using this in a vehicle or wearing it, then thats gonna be a real problem.

Heres a reasonably simple circuit that is crystal locked, and doesnt produce square waves, beware though you have to make this and most others on the designed pcb for it, I tried this one on veroboard and it was naff, but the pcb worked fine.
