After configuring properly the my x bee modules, I want to test it by look-back communication.
How can I test it using hyperterminal when both modules are connected on separate PCs?
What specific hyperterminal commands should I use?

tnx ^_^

connect them to 2 systems and send a file or type text from one PC and see if you get the data on the other PC. If it is configured correctly then it will receive the data.

Thanks ckshivaram, however I didn't quite get your answer. Where can I send a file? Where to type text from PC? How?

you will have to use hyperterminal... then select the port and configure the terminal with 9600 8-N-1 on both sides. then type something on the transmitter, you should receive it in receiver side hyperterminal.

To send txt file; save a small file with extension *.txt. from hyperterminal select send text file. by selecting the path of the file and send it. the file should get printed on the receiver side.
