Hi,

I am new to linux based OS and installed ubuntu 11.10 to learn.

But as in previous versions of ubuntu I cant find application>office>dictionary in this version.

actually I have installed the dictionary using
Code:
apt-get install dictd
command.

But I cant found where is it?

Thank you.
Regards,
Shreyas.

well, good you created a new topic rather than posting this question in the old post.............
In Ubuntu 11.10......... Unity interface is used.. In this interface there is no clearcut distinction b/w the programs....... all the installed programs can be accessed by typing in the search field or for browsing through the installed program........

If you can't acces it using above method....... try to go back by using gnome interface........ that may work.........
check this out: Install Gnome in Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot)

all the best
