Hi,

I don´t know if this is the ideal place to put this question.

My company is thinking of designing a product to put in LV electrical closets, of small retail stores (for example).

The product basically receives an input of command and cuts the power to one or more circuits.

Is there any kind of regulamentation for what devices can or cannot be put in a LV closet (assuming that the enclosure follows the present DIN standart).

Best regards

Luís

CE safety standards, e.g. the safety related part of the EU low voltage directive are mostly referring to existing ISO/IEC regulations. So you need to review these standards, e.g. IEC 1010/EN61010 Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use and similar standards that apply to home appliances.

If you can be more specfic with your question, some points may be possibly answered directly.
