Hi, all dears:
I'm designing an integrating ADC without S/H, So it is inappropriate to assign a sin wave directly to the input. in order to do FFT, I think out 2 solutions:
(1)using an off-chip S/H and assign a sin wave to the S/H
(2)using an higher resolution DAC to generate a discrete sin wave
which way is better? or any other better way?
thanks in advance!

method 2 is one i have used before. i set the dac to have 2 bits mode resolution than adc.
