i have a pulse comming out from pic18 and it is high sometimes 0.25sec or 1sec i need it 1 sec ((only)) to pass to another circuit ..
what shall i do to prevent 0.25sec and only let 1sec to pass and i hope its with degital logic ???plz there is no time sorry

i need an ic or device for using the following task
if i have digital signal(5v and 0v) and i need it to pass through the device but i need this device to pass it if its 5v for 1 sec?????????

notes the period of input signal is 20 ms applied to porta and portc

i have optical sensor(infra red ) sensor ,and i gave it vcc and ground and when i am testing its output i found it that vout=2.5v (detect) and (vout=0) (no detect)
but i need (vout=5v)when(detect) and (vout=0)when (no detect)..
