So I am investigating the six switch boost PFC rectifier for 3 phase applications. I have found articles comparing this topology. Does anyone have any article on the operation and control of the six switch topology?
Board space is very important in my situation, so the SATA connector is the smallest mass produced cable/connector that fits my pin counts, with the least twisted pairs.
RJ45 was a candidate and would have been selected if I had differential pairs.
@FvM I am reassigning the SATA port and cable...
I am making a hand held box that has a SN74LS674, 10mhz crystal, and a bunch of switches to set the data bits. I am trying to have this box output a serial data string to the SPI port on a digital pot that is on a PCB. I was looking at using a computer SATA port and SATA cables to link the box...
board outline, overall, thickness, finish
I sent them a photoplot in my artwork. I dont really know, this is my first board thats going into mass production.
My vias pass analog DC signals and power with frequencies under 100Hz. Could possibly have 50mA going though a via. My board density is high and only two sided. what is the recomended drill, pad, anti-pad daimeters?
So i have orcad 16.5, the book i have just says to start the auto router, go to route > auto route. The auto rout options is not in the menu. So where is the auto router in 16.5?
anyone have a guide on it?
thanks
I have Orcad 15.6, I am ready to place parts. Is there a way to automatically place a row of resisters of my choosing?
I would like to have the row be uniform, and all the resisters have the same footprint.
So I go to make the netlist and I get a repeating errors
"#78 ERROR(ORCAP-36002): Property "PCB Footprint" missing from instance R40: SCHEMATIC1, PAGE2 (5.80, 1.00)."
This happens on resisters, diodes, relays, and capacitors. What is this error and how do I fix it?
EDIT:
i did fill in the PCB...
So im using Orcad PCB editor 16.5. I placed a reference designator on the silkscreen layer by using the "label refdes" button.
will the reference designator that I put on the silkscreen layer actually be printed on the physical PCB by the manufacturer?
