Hello
I'm going to design a 3000W DC / DC source, so I thought it would be best to parallelize 2 1500W sources, to facilitate the fabrication of the transformers (I plan to use 2 fullbridge). Consulting the literature, it is necessary to balance the currents of each stage. for this I have seen...
Hello
I need to design a pfc with an output of 5kw. The drawback is that I need a 110Vdc output, with an input of 120vrms. Having an output voltage lower than the input voltage, I can not use a boost converter as in the vast majority of cases. I can not use a buck converter either because its...
It is assumed that R23 serves to reset the core, and the greater the resistance, the reset time will be shorter, with the consequence that the diode will have a higher inverse voltage. I put very large values of this resistance, and even so the offset error is presented. I agree with you that...
Hi.
I am using the ucc28950 for a DC / DC source. I am using the current sensor B82801C2245A200. As you can see in the image below (blue signal), the current oscillates a lot. I do not think it's ringing due to poor grounding, because I made a single board for the current sensor, and I'm not...
Hello everyone.
I have been able to solve my problem. The cores I was using are not reset because of their remanence. I choose to use a 125 ui sendust core, and the core is reset without problem. Then buy the current sensor B82801C2245A200, and it is also reset without problem.
Hello
I am designing a DC / DC 150V input source and a 250V output, at a power of 1200W, and fullbridge topolofy. At the moment I do not have a 150v DC source, therefore using the same hardware calculated for a 150V input and a 250V output, I am using a 30Vdc input source and a 65V output...
Man I feel very confused with this part
In the simulation the signal that enters to the filter is the green signal in the graph below(V(out1,out2)), and out, the sinusoidal signal with 170 Vpk@60hz.
Which signal should I calculate AC voltage across the capacitor, with the sinusoidal...
Hi
I am designed a DC/AC inverter. I already made a prototype
The output voltage is 120Vrms and current of 8 Arms. DC link is 250vdc, Fsw = 25khz.
Now I'm designing a new version that is coupled to the electrical network, and with corrections of the first version .
The filter is an LC filter...
Re: magnitude of spike in full brdge rectifier with snubber
I place the inductance of 40 uH based in pi model for transformator (see this page: https://softsolder.com/2009/02/16/finding-transformer-pi-model-parameters/ and the book "switch-mode power supply simulation by steven M sandler ")...
Re: magnitude of spike in full brdge rectifier with snubber
thanks for the answer.
I forgot mention that I place snubbers in diodes rectifiers in the secondary side. I don't place the snubber in FETS because this reduces little the spike, and losses are really big.
You know some aplication...
magnitude of spike in full brdge rectifier with snubber
hello all.
I designed a full bridge smps, with secondary full bridge rectifier. The circuit work in hard switching mode.
The schematic is as follows
The circuit present a big spikes. I design snubber for solve this.
Secondary voltage...
Hello Treez thanks for the answer
I use this MOSFETS because are really inexpensive and easy get in my country.
I am aware the COSS for this mosfets is big and the trr of the body diode is slow. but I compensate with big time for left leg and right leg transition, for give time to recompose of...
I am designing a DC/DC converter.
I chose the fullbridge topology. The requirements are as follows:
Vin = 75 - 125 Vdc Vout = 200V P = 600W Fs = 100 Khz
the basic schematic is as follows DC/DC schematic
I use ZVS for soft switching. the problem is the big spike in the Vds on the MOSFETS Vds...
very interesting isolated DC/DC, but I do not want use a Dc/Dc for feed only one IC.
I found IC SN6501. This IC with a transformer, provided a Dc source isolated from dc source
of control side.
I preferiria use other method for sensing voltage without use IC AMC1304 or another IC that need
two...
hello all
I construct a sine wave inverter. the source is an array of solar panels. the specification of array of solar panels is:
Vmax= 125Vdc
Vmin = 75Vdc
I need measure the voltage from solar panel. I need that this measure are isolated from control circuit.
I plane to use the ic amc1304M25...
