i need to make a simple electronic circuit to do the following but stuck.
i have a momentary switch that is normally closed and when opened de-energises a lock that unlocks a door.
what i want to do i have a circuit that when you press the switch to open its contacts to take power away from the...
i have a TOPS-050 Photo Transistor 900nm and i think its faulty, what is a substirute for this? would this work?

im not sure, but all i remember doing 10 years back was drawing the schematic, telling it what pin layout the components were and the board size and it used to create the pc layout for me, every time you press the refresh button it does another layout for you. very very easy to use, limited in...
no wasnt any of them, was about 10 years ago i used it last, just cant remember what it was, it was very easy to use, suited to small circuits not huge complicated boards.

i one many years ago had a program where i could design a schematic with components and press a button it would create a PCB for me with all components laid out nicely nothing more to do.
anyone know what i would be?? i have tried ExpressPCB and wasn't it and seen some others but cant find this...
i have a capacitor that is faulty and needs replacing. its 0.47uf or 470nf, i think that is the same thing isnt it? been a long time since i studied electronics.
the faulty capacitor is the image below.
i found 2 capacitors online that look the same specs, but are these the same? the yellow...
something like this? would this work you reckon??
what is the output of this chip, I cant work it out, input is ok at 12v, is output only 1.5v? would I need a transistor to power the relay?
I have the need for a circuit operating on 12VDC to do the following
every time powered up, will close relay contacts for 10 seconds, then open the relay contacts for about 10 seconds then keep the relay contacts closed again permanently while power is applied to the circuit.
anyone help me with...
dont worry, delete me from this forum, delete this thread, i found another board where its members are willing to help and have sorted out my problem, i will not be returning here where no one can help in a simple circuit, good bye.
i will not be recommending this forum to anyone, i will...
