I'm going with the industry standard of guitar pedals wich is 9V Vcc. I used a voltage divider for Vb like you said.
For now I'm using TL072 opamps, wich should be fine cause I also made a variable mid section wich works.

I've built a baxandall circuit for use as a guitar effect.
The circuit is below, wich is a combination of multiple schematics I found online.
I've built this thing and I get weird results, when I connect it to my guitar amplifier it farts out. (short clicking sounds when I hit a string)...
The setup is a little messy because it was the end of the day and we had to go. It will be tested more extensively tomorrow. The top oscilloscope was measuring inaccurate, we fixed it after the picture.

We got the oscillator working with the original values by ALD (1mH inductor), so the circuit does atleast work.
Now the question is just, why can't the inductance be lowered by F=1/(2Π√LC). It could very well be the impedance change, thats probably the problem. We're...

You're right, we tried this before but I think we were doing it wrong, we were just injecting the AC signal.
Instead I suppose we have to open the circuit at the gate and measure the way LvW suggested earlier:

The problem is that the real circuit doesnt oscillate. So we went to simulations to find out why.
In simulations everything seems to be working fine however so we're left to wonder why it doesn't work in reality.
We've tried about everything, including decreasing C to a smaller value keeping...
I think you misread the plot, it simply shows the drain of both mosfet's (inverter and buffer) to show the circuit oscillates. Alse we removed C1.
I made a Vg /Vd just now, your conclusion makes sense nonetheless.
We tried the active load circuit but got the same results.
Assuming you ment Vg...
Just changed the resistors to 1k,2.2k and 10k. No results :|. But you're right, it can't hurt to lower that resistor. I left the 10K. Lower values make the simulations go weird :smile:.
The mosfets are zero-treshold so bias voltage shouldn't be a problem.
