Image aquisition by camera to FPGA using GigE Vision or similar in speed

For industrial cameras, real-time images are a prerequisite. For example, when inspecting components in a production process, the components are transported on the conveyor belts at high speed. For a precise inspection, the camera must acquire the images as quickly as the components are being...

Image aquisition by camera to FPGA using GigE Vision or similar in speed

I'm sorry. My project is undergraduate final year project, But I chose to do it related to industry, and I have signed NDA. As the idea of using FPGA is to make everything faster, the interface between camera and FPGA should be fast too, to get the Photo quickly. Can I PM you?

Image aquisition by camera to FPGA using GigE Vision or similar in speed

Is this the specification? [weblink to copyrighted pdf document, deleted by moderator] Can I use it in an industrial environment? I mean is it illegal? Can I try before I buy?

Image aquisition by camera to FPGA using GigE Vision or similar in speed

I'm sorry, as I haven't provide enough info, I wasted your time. But I will find your information useful for another application. The cameras for the project can be expensive (I get free cameras). Images are microscopic. I will not need video, just images. For example Basler camera, around 2000...

Image aquisition by camera to FPGA using GigE Vision or similar in speed

I don't have enough experience to make my own core for GigE Vision. I have read in forum that it's a difficult task. I'm currently defining the scope of my undergraduate image processing project, I'm not sure adding GigE Vision is a different project or not. Can you give your suggestion...

Image aquisition by camera to FPGA using GigE Vision or similar in speed

Hello, Can you suggest me fast way of image acquisition to FPGA for image processing (GigE Vision or similar) or if there is some kind of converter? I searched for GigE ip cores but couldn't find free ones, even if I buy, I'm not sure whether its troublesome to connect to FPGA directly and...

FPGA devolopment board suitable for 4 MegaPixel image image processing?

I want to know the price range from someone who has done this before. I see very expensive development kits in Xilinx website, have no idea which one to buy.

FPGA devolopment board suitable for 4 MegaPixel image image processing?

Hello, Please tell me what FPGA development boards are suitable for 4 mega pixel image processing. Preferably Xilinx or Altera. I plan to do template matching, edge detection and several algorithms. Thank you.

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

I thought two phases are on at a time in full step sequence so, total current in to the circuit would be 2.4 Amp. I will check with oscilloscope. Thank you.

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

Thank you. I adjusted gate voltage to 14V. And this time I wired 1.2Amp fuses to each phase and set duty around 7% and now I keep burning fuses in less than a second. Maybe the stall current is high or I wired it wrong again. Previously I managed to run the circuit with limiting total current...

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

Yes, one mosfet is a lot hotter than the others (Q3), Step sequence 1010 0110 0101 1001 I attached a schematic Thank you.

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

Thank you. You are correct, I changed Arduino registers to output 31 kHz and I got the torque I wanted. I notice one mosfet heats up more than the other 3. I replaced the mosfet but still same. Do you have have any idea why would that be ?

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

I tested with 15% duty, The motor torque is very low. Same motor used in a device original motor driver board and has very high torque. I use full step sequence. Arduino library has only 500Hz PWM, can this be the problem? Also the motor vibrates, but I think its because the frequency is low.

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

Thanks a lot. I'll try that.

Unipolar 2 phase Stepper motor Burn

Thank you for the reply and Sorry for misunderstanding, I know that I miswired, because arduino stepper library and my stepper motor signals in datasheet were different. But I didn't know that miswire can cause a stepper motor to burn. Now I understand 8 amp is the problem. My stepper motor...
