I have try floquet port and wave port. To plot the reflection phase in HFSS, just go to "HFSS" -> "Results" -> "Create Modal Solution Data Report" -> "Rectangular Plot" after click on "Rectangular Plot" a new trace window will appear here you can configure...

yes... i mean the fixed directed beam. So how do you change the beam direction?
Let say if we have a center feed horn illuminate the reflectarray from top, and the reflected field should form a beam on theta= 0 degree. So if we want to make the beam point to theta = 30 degree...
so how do you simulate the reflection phase for oblique incident wave in CST?
I have simulate the reflection phase for normal incident wave in CST with a waveguide port on top and proper boundary condition, i have try to find a way to rotate the waveguide port in order to imitate the oblique...

I'm trying to optimize the gain of my antenna to exceed the preset goal value say larger than 15dBi.
Observed that each time when the optimizer successful optimized the antenna structure to have gain larger than 15dBi (optimization stop automatic) the goal function value will drop to zero...

The goal function value that i mention is like the picture below, this value is show when the optimization is running, observe that it is not the goal (target).
