Hi ,
we are working on Remote radio heads design for LTE systems and CPRI being used as an interface host between REC and RE.
Power to RRH as defined in the standard specifies as either -48v or +24v nominal voltage .
if RRH were used some few kilometers from our base station ,then how to...
hi ,
frequency offsets are due to channel delay spread (coz of channel impairments ) and Doppler spread ( movin vehicles)
suppose ur upconvertin RF frquency is @ 2 Ghz and IF :100 MHZ , ur transmitting frequency will be 2100 MHZ
so if ur channel delay spread is say 10 HZ
ur recieved signal...
BER analysis are carried out in receive section after demodulation
so , u have to remove the added cyclic prefix after FFT analysis
other reason could be : how QAM/QPSK symbols are fed as an input to IFFT block in transmit chain ?
they should be in the middle with zeros at either side to...
yeah thats true but .. after calculating the average power using the ((i ^2 +q^2)/156) formula i am getting values as positive integer (2048 for -20db and 14000 for 0 db)
how to map this values 2048 ,14000 as powers corresponding to -20db and 0 db ??
Hi all ,
how do i calculate the average power of digital samples(I and Q) ??
in my project ..i am feeding IF signal ( GMSK modulated with power of -20db to -60db) to ADC (analog to digital converter ) and from ADC to digital down converter chip , i need to calculate the power of digital output...
