Hello I am currently working on current mode RF receiver front-end
question is do I need to conjugate match between two blocks(eg LNA - mixer)
normally for current mode, input impedance should be very small and output very large.
Do I need interstage match??(Rout=Rin)?
antenna(50ohm) -...
I am currently designing current mode lna
problem is noise is too high~!...10dB??
I am using cadance
and checked noise parameters
and found out that
Port rn 25%
MN1(nmos) id 24%
MP1(pmos) id 15%
first what is ports rn parameter and mos's id
and How do we reduse those parametes/////
I recently started to research on Current mode amplifier(CMA).
I now know that CMA is good specially when vdd is very low,
because it doesn't need to worry about voltage headroom due to very low
input impedance
but the problem right now is where is this needed??

well you can't say dBm is used in voltage-mode, usual circuits that we use are matched-mode(50ohm)
in voltage mode input impediance is very large, on the other hand current mode has very small input impediance
So I am gussing dBV for voltage-mode and dBA for current-mode
but still cant know...
So I have ploted with current on the x-axis
and took 20log (i_in)
but the problem is I can't know whether it is good or not~
because I can't compair it with usual IIP3 that where on dBm
It is easy when I used ports
but what I need is to use i_source in the input
and port at the output
in this case input is in current (Ampere / not in dB)
How can I check IIP3

the thing is these curve that I got from PSS and PAC are strange
first as you see in the graph fundamental signal graph are different.
and IM3signal is also strange
why are these happening
and which one should I believe to get p1dB

I would like to ask derivative problems in cadance
what I want to do is to change dy ( when deriv form is d(vgs)/d(idc)
I want to get d(idc)/d(vgs) - I could only sweep idc on dc analyses)
first I ploted idc vs vgs by changing x axis from idc to vgs
now I need to get d(idc)/d(vgs)...
