id vds curve
Actually i am doing analog circuit design using BSIM4.0 level 54 mosfet model file in that for parameter extraction ie kp' lammda etc i plotted the id-vds curve but the plot is giving the lammda value as 0.05 V-1 even if the length is 32nm ie minimum length( i am simulating for...
bsim4 in ads
I am trying to plot the id-vds curve for 32nm technology using the PTM files from ASU in the plot the id-vds curve is almost flat in saturation region even for l=160nm,32nm........ the spice engine is hspice 2006.03-SP1 even if i am using new version 2008 the same problem is...
hspice tool
i am interested in finding the threshold voltage value which varies with bias i searched and i got this
.print vt_mn=lv9(mn)
but the problem is if i am using subcircuit then for threshold voltage calculation in actual program the Vth value is not changing much
i used that command...
to get better understanding abt short channel we need to know long channel also the book by taur and ning covers the long channel and short channel its good book covering latest concerns in short channel also plz through it
Re: Electrons and Holes
holes are basically space left empty by electron as electron gets energy it moves out of valence band to conduction band this movement of electrons create emty regions called as holes
for ASIC, you may see a fantastic book "Application Specific Integtrated Circuit" by Sebestian John Smith published by Pearson Asea (Low price edition)
