PAE IS NOT THE CASE IN SUCH DESIGN. I HAVE SEEN POLYFET WEBSITE.IT IS OFFERING BETTER SOLUTIONS. BUT WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IS UWB PA, ESPECIALLY IMPEDANCE-MATCHING STUFF. MOSST PROBLEMATIC IS OCTAVE ROLL-OFF COMPENSATION FOR FLAT RESPONSE SAY 3DB THROUGH RANGE. ANYBODY WITH AGILENT ADS...
we use sra-1 & yes, we have given it dc 12v pulses of 5 - 20 khz as modulation at input via 220 ohm resistor. the thing to keep in mind is IF range specified. in our case we can go up to dc. we even give 12 dc throu 220 ohm res, to get cw rf output.this is a passive mixer.
in another example...
search "rf" ,"pin diode" ,"attenuator" , on google. 4 diode,3 capacitor, 2 resistors makes the design. i am sorry but it is not handy with me just now.
hi, i am from india & have worked on design and testing of analog vhf uhf transmitters.
the 500w tx in our design met spects for 30 km of range in uhf band, ( so called primery reception area ). secondary area ranged to 45 km ( noisy picture).
the switchover to digital is very very gradual...
proportional solid state relay circuit
can any body suggest the design idea of solid stste relay using igbt :?:
also suggest circuit idea of proportional power controller( whose output current varies with respet to i/p voltage variation from 0-10v,0-5v d.c. if this is transformerless, it will...
we are using incandescent lamp as load routinely in our test lab, even with pwm at line frequency. for dc you need to check the maximum voltage to below rms value. do not use florescent lamps.
as per my opinion you can keep two 250 v relay in series to increase voltage capacity up to 380 v, you are suggested to keep 1 megaohm with appropriate wattage rating resistor in parellel to each relay contact to equalise voltage between two.
epsilon r fr4
hi,
fr4 is lossy at 1ghz & above, my recommandation is to use it only for upto 5 watts or less, use ptfe instead. dielectric constant is 2.22 . it is costlier also.it is your choice for price performance.
