    suppose you have prepared the newRef lib with the same cell name. Now in LibManager, Edit - Rename Refrence Library it will replace the reference library.

    Cadence license has 2 way to invoke, so you can use either port at servername or LM_LICENSE_FILE=xxxx/lic.txt But I think your issue is not license related, plz clean your cds.lib file.
