I currently have a programmer that programs the 5V pic microcontrollers
I want to experiment with 3.3 V microcontrollers.
I would like to build it myself from components.
My question is would I be better off building the potyo2 icd2 clone or a pickit 2 clone?
what is the difference between rev b and revc?
to clarify what are the practical differences between

eg can both program even if mclr is weak...
