    You need to install CentOS6 or RHEL6 first. If you are not familiar with this, you can try it in VM first.

    CentOS 6 works fine with most EDA tools. Just installing missing libraries if encountered issues. Even IC5141 can work well with CentOS 6.

    Do not use HspiceD with IC. Synopsys provides HSPICE integration in ADE now. Just refer to the HSPICE ADE integration manual to learn how to set up. With HSPICE integration you can access more simulation types in ADE. This is highly recommended.

    It does not make sense to modify the model name if you are using a PDK from foundry. The model names should match your model files.

    cadence allegro cdb Do not try to convert PDK from cdb to oa. You can only update your design library to oa.
