I need to build a simple 5V power supply DC. I have already built a transformer and rectifier parts of the circuit. I think i know how to do the smoothing part as well. However, when it comes to building the regulation part of the circuit i donno how to do this because i can't use...
I need assistance in constructing a 5.0 regulated power supply and i do not even know where to start. I am not allowed to use a prebuit regulator and must therefore construct one myself. All ideas or suggestions for design, materials, and circuitry would be highly appreciated.
