Hi, I have designed the RFID tag Bow-Tie antenna in HFSS attached**broken link removed**. My main desire is that the antenna simulated should have closer impedance value with the manufactured one after simulation. So for this purpose please check my design environment that is it correctly in...
Re: UHF RFID antenna S11
Thanks Venu, I have read in the book that S11 should be between -10dB and -15dB so that antenna should not be sensitive to environmental noises. What you say about such concerns?
Hi, I am designing the UHF RFID tag antenna in HFSS but the S11 of the antenna is (-30dB) at the desired frequency 915Mhz. Should I proceed with this S11?
Please guide me what it represents with lower S11, I mean whats the difference between the S11=-7dB and in other case if S11=-30dB?
help to Check this HFSS mesh
Hi, I am trying to design bowtie antenna for 915Mhz. Please look on the mesh and guide me if its correct mesh or there need to be some improvements. Thanks
Hi, λ/10 is minimum so no need to exceed this value but yes you can make more far away but that will just waste your computing resources. Yes the same applies to far field, that what the rule book says:)
I agree with Sweetchoto.
Hi, you need to follow the following guideline
- Place at least λ/4 from strongly radiating structure
- Place at least λ/10 from weakly radiating structure
Good Luck with your work
