I have ran simulation for half wave dipole antenna on infinite substrate with Er=13.5. (Lower radiation area is the substrate and the upper radiation area is the air).
However, after the simulation, it is observed that the almost all the radiation goes to air instead of the substrate...

I am trying to simulate half-wave dipole antenna on infinitely thick substrate.
I learned that IE3D does have settings for infinite substrate simulation.
However, I heard that IE3D supports 2D.
I am not sure IE3D would support my simulation.
Or, is there other way to simulate this in...
