Illumination driver high speed power NMOS switch 10Mhz ~ 100MHz

I was also thinking about GaN devices . the current to be switched is in the range of 1A . Do you have any recommended GaN device. Also LDMOS devices can handle high speed. driving GaN is painful .

Illumination driver high speed power NMOS switch 10Mhz ~ 100MHz

Hi All , Do anyone know about a power mosfet that can switch 3Amp current , in the range of 10Mhz to 100Mhz . I found CSD16301Q2 of TI can switch up to 80Mhz , but I was looking for 100Mhz . reference article on illumination drive https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sbaa209b/sbaa209b.pdf Again, I...

Different transient response when using pwl source instead of dc source (spectre)

Differrent transient response when used pwl source instead of dc source (spectre) Hi All, I was simulating a circuit and I found that when I use a pwl source, in the transient response the output level is different from when I use a dc source . ( to be specific I am using vpwl/vsource(pwl) in...

[SOLVED] Why common source amplifier stage can not drive a low impedence load

Hi jjx , Thank you very much. I messed it up with the drain resistance R_D and load impedance R_L , did not consider the effect of R_L being low on the overall output resistance R_L // R_D // r_o ~ R_L. Can we say that without a load connected , CS stage has a moderate or high output...

[SOLVED] Why common source amplifier stage can not drive a low impedence load

Hi All, I am new to this forum . Can anyone explain the following doubt which is killing me  In Razavi book just before starting the explanation about source follower stage it is stated that , "To achieve a high voltage gain with limited power supply voltage, the load impedance should be...
