I work in a small company; we have had auditors from different locations for more than a week now. I would just like to know why companies have audits. Are they doing this for themselves or investors?
How do I add protection to privileged groups that control access across a range of domain-joined computers and applications on those computers? I also want to add more monitoring, more visibility, and more fine-grained controls so that our organization can see who the privileged administrators...

had the same issue before, what i did was:
• Control Panel, Sound, Manage Audio Devices
• The Sound box will pop up.
• On the payback tab you should see two icons. One for your laptop speakers, one for the external monitor/TV.
• Double click on the Laptop speakers, then click "Set Default"...
A friend of mine who works in a popular company told me that they had experienced an internal data breach a few months ago; it was already solved as of this moment. I am just wondering, with a company as big as that; how could a data breach happen? I am pretty much sure that they have data...
I ran into the same problem with my ACER laptop in January and this fixed it but it wasn't a permanent fix, though. After that incident my lappy wasn't able to detect his battery and keys were always stuck. Needed to buy a new lappy by the end of April. :-(
