cosimulation saber
Synopsys Saber 2006.06 is able to run a co-simulation with matlab/Simulink R13 (that is v6.5). It does not work with the latest release from Mathworks, matlab 7.
For this, you must install the newer Saber release.

I encounter the same problem. I run Saber Designer and Modelsim, but I could not perform any co-simulation, even if the license feature Saber_modelsim is enabled. I assume it has to do with setting some general environment variables. The error message I get is:
