What diode to use for circuit operating radio (10-20MHz)?

Re: Diode Question.... I would try the Germanium one but also are you using more than just the diode? Maybe adding a small capacitor would do the trick.

Controlling two linked systems using a PLC

allen bradley 1747-l542b Hello, I am currently designing a control system to control 2 compressors. The current design uses an Allen Bradley PLC (1747-L542B 5/04 CPU - 32K mem). I am having a little difficulty with the implementation of the ladder logic. The way the compressors work is that 1...

    Pseudo Random Binary Noise Generator

binary noise Hello, I want to generate a signal with random bit stream. Would you be able to show me the VHDL code for this please? Thankyou

    Pseudo Random Binary Noise Generator

pseudo random vhdl Hello, I asked a similar question earlier to this one except that I wanted to implement a pseudo random binary noise generator using physical hardware. That worked well. Now I am wondering how I would go about implementing one on an EPLD. Does anyone know of where I might...

    FPGA Architectures,CPLD's

•Complex PLDs (CPLDs) consist of multiple PAL-like blocks on a single chip •FPGAs have a much larger number of individual logic blocks than CPLDs, and a large distributed interconnection structure –each logic block is much simpler than a PLD CPLD: small number of large, complex logic blocks...

    FPGA Architectures,CPLD's

CPLDs - Complex Programmable Logic Devices FPGAs - Field Programmable Gate Arrays XILINX XC4000 FPGA Structure: • An array of programmable blocks of logic called configurable logic blocks (CLBs) • Input to and output from the array is handled by input/output blocks (IOBs) along the edges of...

Which one is preferred in FSM design ? Mealy or Moore? Why?

moore fsm It really depends on what you want to implement. Both have good points about them and it is really up to the application as to which one you choose. What application did you have in mind?

    Pseudo-random binary noise generator

pseudo random noise signal generator Thanks for the help guys but I need a pseudo random generator. It is random but it always follows the same sequence if it is restarted. Any other ideas? Thanks

    Pseudo-random binary noise generator

pseudo binary random generator Hello, I was wondering how I would go about building a pseudo-random binary noise generator. I was wanting to build it totally out of basic analog components. If possible I don't want to use a programmable chip. Could any one help me with a circuit design or give...
