Set the following environment variable. "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1". you can put it in your .bashrc or type it at the command prompt before starting 'icfb'

It is set in linux. Put "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1" in your .bashrc file. If you dont want it to be permanent, just type it in your terminal before starting icfb.

I installed Cadence IC5033 on Suse 9.1. It is working fine with out any problems. I had to set LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 environmental variable though. Once this is set every thing will be ok.

C@dence IC5.0 works perfectly on RH8.0 (both KDE and GNOME) for me. It doesnt matter if it is KDE or GNOME. you can choose which ever you like the most.
