For application above 26GHz, its recommend to use K/2.92mm SMA connector. Is it because the of higher order modes generation in the connector or some other reason
Thanks
i started this post because i find many website selling RF-detectors@50GHz@300$. On the other hand all power meter are compatible with their own sensor dependent.
So i just wanna know that which device is to be used with Rf-detector to measure power
What is difference between RF-detector(Schottky diode detectors) and RF power meter.
RF detectors are cheaper so can they be used with voltmeter/oscilloscope as an alternative to power meter.
Thanks
I want to perform TRL calibration for free space dielectric measurements.
Consider the two antennas that are 30cm apart. I am confused
i) THRU:: now do i need to set "zero length delay" in VNA calibration kit (i.e. default setting in VNA). Or i need to set delay corresponding to 30cm.
ii)...
Is there any way to increase the frequency range for spectrum and network analyzer.
I have HP3582A (0.02Hz to 25.6KHz) and Anritsu Network analyze of 30MHz range.
Near Field systems are cheaper than FarField. so is there any price comparison available
