1. Read is easy since it is output from your register. All you need is branch the data out to the data input of your modules.
2. Write need arbitration. You should prioritize your modules, or have a fairness engineer to even the access right for each module. The arbitration logic would switch...
Re: urgent verilog
In general, you'd better break down the 'for' loops and make it easier for tools. Logic synthesis is meant to implement functions in hardware circuitry, and the design would be made easier if you started RTL with hardware circuitry in mind.
Like to see your example and...
I would suggest you buy one used SUN workstation for NIS, NFS and network related managing stuff. An ultra2, ultra30 or ultra60 would be the best performance/price choice.
Spend the rest of money for PCs and use the computing power of those PCs. You may also assign one PC as a file server and...

Not quite sure about embeded DRAM. For embeded SRAM,
1. Static mode (No access to the SRAM at all).
Static power of 2k SRAM is slightly lower than that of 1kx2 SRAM, since the 1kx2 would have duplicated colume/row decoders, sense amps and other drivers.
However, the overall static power is...
