As for a simple SMPS which uses M02659R power switch for the switching at the primary side, how actually the signal that output from the DRAIN pin looks like? As what i know the switching transformer needs signal something like AC signal to let it to switch between on and off.

ok.seems like on your circuit there are primary side GND and also secondary side GND. if i would like to have a look on the switching waveform that going to the transformer, is it wrong for me to clip the black color clip of my probe to the PGND as a reference GND? am i right?
