What do you mean by calculation of phi and theta values ?
Basically radiation pattern in HFSS is phi or theta variation of Field Magnitude for constant theta or phi value respectively. So you can use marker to get desired value of field magnitude at specific theta and phi value.

Any one able to correct this setup of metamaterial unit cell with periodic boundary condition and floquet port. What should be the size of the airbox. And what should be the orientation of unit cell. And What should be the criteria to choose the scan angles for phi and theta. And How we can run...
You are getting changes in the resonance because the wave is reflecting back towards the patch and disturbing the current path....so take rad. boundary more than lambda/4 and the best option is use PML................it gives accurate results...................
I think PML is very useful for Antenna design because it gives accurate matching between fabricated and simulated results, i have checked this.
