What is the VDS of the MOSFET you are using? Check this MIC5018, which will operate in 3.3V input & can drive MOSFET with 12V Vds maximum. Hope this solve your problem.
Check the ICs power dissipation & using thermal resistance (Theta ja), calculate the temperature raise. Add the temperature raise with ambient temperature & see it is not exceeding the maximum junction temperature of the IC. According to the thermal margin you get, you can decide whether a heat...
Total Voltage will be 6V-voltage at the junction 5k&2k. for the analysis of 1.5V, the current will flow through the 2k & 5k only. so the current is -1.5/(2k+5k)=-0.214mA, so @ junction the voltage is -0.214mA*2k=-0.428V, hence the total voltage 6-(-0.428)= 6.428 or 6.43V.

For a logic device, the output levels are independent of inputs. That means, if input<Vil(max), the device will output LOW (which is less than Volmax). If input>Vih(min), the device will output HIGH (which is greater than Vohmin).
What duty cycle are you looking at? if you need a adjustable...
Any other device on I2C bus?..is it possible to isolate (removing power also ok) the each chip so that we can check which device is driving the bus LOW (Clock).
For a particular load resistor, say 75ohms 10W, it is always fixed. If you dissipate more than 10W, the resistor will burn. Only you can do is to reduce the power rating by sharing the power.
If you are connecting the same load in parallel, the current drawn will double-hence the power...
