I simulated a quarter of coaxial because the coaxial allows simmetry boundary condition (perfect H). I want to obtain the capacitance simulated of the coaxial for comparing the results with different mesh operations.
Thank's for all.
Hy, I've tried to simulate the more simple structure of coaxial that appear in the pdf, but the parameters S aren't correct for me. Moreover, I don't Know How to calculate the Capacitance.
My design is the next. What's wrong?
Thank's for all.
How could I calculate the simulated Capacitance of a coaxial with HFSS?
I don't want to calculate the theoretical result. I want the capacitance obtained by HFSS (Approximated).
Thank's for all and Regards.
hy:
I want to get a infinite cylinder in z axis. Is this possible with HFSS?. I have used condition layered impedance in the extreme of the cylinder. I have used master-slave boundary condition and the result in the both cases is the same: I get a correct result in the form (more or less) but...
Hy,
I want to simulate a 2D structure but I don't know what simulator could I use.
Specifically:
I want to analyze the next 2D structure with a simulator:
Ring1=metal. (Radium 0.2meter)
Ring2=Vacuum(Radium 0.995 meter)
Ring3=dielectric(Radium 1meter) with: pemitivity=2...
But the problem that I'm trying to resolve is a coaxial to waveguide transition, not waveguide to coaxial transition..the excitation must to be in the rectangles.
Hy:
I'm a student of telecomunications thar are using HFSS in her project. I would like to know why the results (like parameters S11 and S21of any structures) depends on length of the integration line using lumped ports.
In special, I am Analysing a coaxial to rectangle/ circular waveguide...
I want to use coaxial with the next model. If I analyze the same filter with waveports (using rectangles with the correct dimensions) the result is correct. But if I use Coaxial (like we can see in the model) the result is wrong. why?.
I don't want to change the dimension of the box with a probe...
I have analized this structure with wave port using rectangles and the result is correct. Now, I want to analize the same structure with coaxial. How can I do it?
Note: I show the design with the coaxial. The result is wrong. I want to know how I can obtain a correct result.
Here we can get some interesting information about ports in HFSS. The principal diferences between wave and lumpe ports and how we have to use.
Regards
